Welcome to my site. I’m a journalist, traveller, blogger and photographer with 20 years’ experience of working in print and eight years online. I specialise in sub-editing and travel writing, with features published in the Independent on Sunday, Sunday Mirror and the Metro. I also undertake copywriting and production work for consumer and client publications and websites.
I’m a ‘classically-trained’ magazine journalist, thanks to the London College of Printing (now Communication). Sub-editing has been my main field of experience but I’ve now crossed the digital divide to working on the web specialising in social media, ezines and SEO content.
I completed a degree in 2006 in Creative and Professional Writing (and Popular Music – yes, it’s true… I’ve even played for Gordon Brown).
So… I’m one of those writer/sub/guitar types with both traditional, new media and stage experience.
