There are two main sides to my writing: blogging/copywriting for clients and travel journalism.

  • Blogging / copywriting: writing for agencies, publishing companies and directly for clients to produce corporate and client communications. Copywriting projects have included writing Birmingham City Council’s Chamberlain Awards brochure, ceremony script and live blog; Olympic supplier ELEY’s product guide to rimfire ammunition; and Sainsbury’s Magazine advertorials. Currently I am working full-time as a corporate blogger, web editor and content strategist for Grant Thornton Thinking Blogs (UK) and Firehead Web & IT Recruitment (Sweden).
  • Travel journalism: since 2000 I’ve had features published in national and international press and given a talk on travel journalism to university students. See Travel journalism for work samples. I also keep several travel blogs – see the ‘Me on the web’ links (right).
